School desks to be replaced by treadmills?

The way the research is going that shows the impact of exercise on cognition and brain function you never know.  A recent report, summed up by the Daily Telegraph of Australia puts it this way:

“CHILDREN learn their times tables better while running around the playground than sitting still at a desk.”

University of Sydney Research on the subject is here. 

(One could always add prospective sensor and analytics technology to playground wristwatches that fetch the status of heart rate and synaptic connections at the time a test question is answered.  Not that that would be a good idea…)
